HTPC video lags with wireless network

I have a linksys 54G router and a PCI 54G card in my htpc. When watching divx files on my HTPC that are on my main computer in another room the video stumbles every few minutes. I know this isnt a bandwidth issue cause i did a download on my HTPC and there was plenty of bandwidth. I cant seem to figure out whats causing this issue. I have full signal strength, and my network is using WPA security. Anybody have any idea's?

I did try that. I was on channel 11 and I went to channel 1. I guess i'll try some other's. I thought about going to best buy and picking up a D-link Draft N to see if that solves the problem. I might have to go that route anyways cause I'm gonna try to stream HD content.

I have always had issues when trying to stream wireless video to my TV. I just gave up and made a cable run to the TV. Wireless is not a reliable medium for video. I have no issues with w/audio but the video seems like too much.

It is too soon for Solid Wireless Video.

Either you take for you get, or you wait to a solid release of the next WIFI standard.
