I want to build a cheap rig to put in my living room to run HD video/divx video/music. I have a 26" Olevia HDTV LCD. Any comments on the hardware attached would be appreciated.

My limit is about $400 for this small project.

Don't get that video card or motherboard. Instead, get an AMD 690G chipset motherboard, making sure the one you get has the video outputs you need.

Some of those boards (such as Biostar Tforce) are even good overclockers.

Do not get the 690V because that does not have digital video outputs. Make sure to get the 690G.
