I'm going to replace my Silverstone Tejmin TJ-05 with a HTPC case.
I'm looking for a case with good cooling, and I need it to be able to carry all the components I have in the Tejmin.
I am looking at options from Lian-Li and Silverstone.

I need the case to be able to:
Carry all the components: 3 Hard drives, 2 CD drives, the obis CPU cooler and so on.

I am willing to spend up to 300$, but I saw nice cases for 150$-200$ range and I don't really care much for the front LCD screen unless is can be really usefull. I want quality, good design and quiet as I can have it since I need the cooling for overclocking.

thanks.

I have 3 LL rigs. 2 PC-60s and 1 PC7. I got my first PC-60 and was so impressed with its construction and overall design, that I now have 3.
The design has aided in my overall cooling effect on my AMDs.
Whatever you picked in an Lian-Li case, you will share that good feeling when you open that box, that I experienced and many others too, since.

The PC-101 is an awesome case, however it doesnt have a removable motherboards tray. It didnt stop me from using it 5 times in various builds so far, plus the use of a PC-201 (the big brother) once, with plans for 2 more.

It looks like some of the Thermaltakes (Tenor, Mozart, etc.) or Lian Lis (880, etc.) are going the be the ones to meet your req's w/o breaking the wallet.

i like the PC-C30A from lian-li for HTPC cases. Although the biggest problem with HTPC cases is the lack of 120mm fans typically. The PC-C30 instead uses 2 lower speed 80mm fans. It has the option for 2 DVD drives or 1 DVD + VFD display

I'd recheck the specs on the C30B if you really meant what you said in the OP.

Yeah thanks I didn't notice :|

Can I still fit 3 HD's in the C30B?

If not, I will go either for the V880B (134.95$ - I think it's ugly) or the Silverstone Lascala LC14M (219$). What do you think? The LC14M is worth the money? high quality? It weighs 19 pounds! And the Tejmin TJ-05 is not that great regarding quality of finish.
