On the Blog site, you have an inline style that is setting each li tag in your navigation to float left. I'm guessing that WP is adding that in for you. If you go through in Firebug or Chrome's inspect element tools, you can temporarily remove the inline style and see how it is effecting your site. Good luck.

OK, I fixed that by creating a blog.css...

http://www.bitlancer.com/css/blog.css

However, now the menus are *slightly* off. Any idea why that is? The menu on the main site versus wordpress simply doesn't look the same.

They look the same to me. Have you already fixed this?

Yup! Now I have one more problem. The selector on the home page isn't rotating correctly:

http://www.bitlancer.com/

See how when it goes between the three tabs, it loads the new image first, then fades to white, then loads the new image again? Any ideas why it's doing that?

Thanks so much everyone for their help.

tabs.removeClass('current').filter(":eq(" + nr + ")").addClass('current');

output.stop(true, true).filter(":visible").fadeOut();
output.filter(":eq(" + nr + ")").fadeIn(function() {
visible_item = nr;
});

That code is from your jquery.featurelist.something.js file. Try switching around the first two lines I pasted. Not sure if it will work but after looking quickly, it looks like you are changing what image will be displayed before you are fading out the old one.

GregGreen: tried that, didn't work. For what it's worth, there's a working version of the site here:

rendereffect dot com/matt21/index2.html

(didn't want google to pick it up since it's just a QA site)

I can't for the live of me see the difference. The site has changed a lot since then, no doubt, but the js files are the same.

Sorry, I got busy at work and didn't have it in me to deal with stuff like this when I got home. Just went to look at the problem again and it looks like you fixed it. Care to share what was wrong?

Few lines of javascript in there. Removed them, and it worked. Weird, right?
