HTC users: Can you use regular headphones with HTC's USB adapter thing?

I want new headphones to use with my mytouch and need to know if I can use any kind of headphones (with the right jack size) or what. I don't care if the mic doesn't work, I just need music.

The new mytouch's have a 3.5mm headset jack and any headset will work fine on it. I believe the older ones use the mini-usb style jack so you would have to use the dongle.

I know I'lll have to use the dongle, but can I use any headphones I want with that dongle?

Yes I have used multiple headphones and they have all worked with those HTC dongles.

Not sure of your price range but I have an older Shure e2c headphone set that I have always liked. I think I paid around $75.00 for them 5 years ago. They have served me well.

In ear....and I'm not sure. I'm torn between quality and the fact that I tend to run them over.

Lower end Shures then. In ear, good response, lifetime warranty (i think), and only ~$60 for some SE110s
