HTC-6800 Mogul, Windows Media 6 and Gmail

So I 'think' I have everything set up correctly. When I put in the pop and smtp settings, my phone connects to google fine and then starts downloading headers. but the only message that pops up is some stupid ebay email I got way back in 2005 that is already tagged and archived to that tag. WTF

Sending emails works flawlessly, so I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone have any suggestions?

edit: figured it out. WTF.

you need to set your login to 'recent:username@gmail.com'

yeah, that is how i found out that i needed the recent infront of the login.
