trying to set up a subdomain/redirect in DirectAdmin, apparently it's not possible, unless I'm really dumb (new to DA) so I created a .htaccess file in the /forums folder, which is for my subdomain

forums.site.com

I put

redirect http://forums.site.com http://forums.site.com/board

obviously my site ain't site.com, I didn't want to put the real domain because my site is shat right now. that is the only line in my .htaccess, but when I go to forums.site.com I get an "internal server error" what gives?

anyone who knows DA please tell me if I can set them up in there, because this .htaccess thing has me stumped. my hosting is myhost.com if that helps anyone
