When I run pcmark or sandra it says hyper threading is disabled, in my bios its enabled. my board and cpu suppport it, whats going on?
 
Look at the performance tab in task manager. Do you see 2 graphs for the CPU? Under processors in device manager, are there 2 listed? Is this a new build, upgrade, fresh windows install?
 
Nevermind I got it, for anyone that has this problem or has a core disabled boot with xp press f5 choose apci or mulitproccesor then repair windows.


Or if your doing a fresh install do this because windows wont always recognize your cpu and once it installs standard drivers its a pain to reverse them.
