HT 4x or 5x?

Hello,
what's the main difference with an athlon 64 x2 between HT 4x and HT 5x? Is there an performance increase? OCZ (my RAM) says that I should leave it at 4x. I see a temperature rise of about 1-2°C when it's set at 5x.

What setting is the best? (I'm not overclocking)

HT is the multi*the FSB of your motherboard. By default it's 5x200, equaling 1000mhz. People have done some tests and found that you can go under 1000mhz (to about 600mhz) without losing any kind of performance, but going above 1000mhz can result in instability.

It's mainly for those who overclock.
