HSF w/ Heat Pipes Any Good?

Yep

I saw that one and CoolMaster's other Heat Pipe one, HHC-L61 and the Taisol CMK702151A.

They look pretty impressive.

Are they worth the money? Would a high-end HSF do the same job?

Comments?

I read on DansData that the Coolermaster HSF with heatpipes performs identically to it's sibling without the heatpipes. I have read that the Taisol HSF is good, but I forgot where. None of this is from personal experience. The HSF in the Shuttle systems is also supposed to be really good.

Yea

I saw one of those Shuttle Systems in an Article at Via Arena. They look really sweet.

Thanks for stopping by everyone.

I have one in my shuttle ss50, it works great as the case is very small, not much room for a traditional large heatsink/fan combo. It lowered the cpu temps significantly during full load, plus reduced noise by eliminating the case intake fan.
