well, going with your point, if i really wanted to do better cooling with overclocking, you would go with watercooling in my opinion, not fan cooling ...

but even so, MANY users have reported OC'ing fine on stock cooler anyways .... but even I wouldn't take that chance myself. but unless it's different, any of these coolers would be better than stock? I have seen alot of computers with stock fans that just seem SMALL

oh, also, im only spending $600!! LOL (ya ya, still alot, but parents footing about half the bill for this computer)

just, when going from spending about $50 to spending $33 for the 90 at jabtech, then anything over that seems like much more expensive all of a sudden! heh

and paragon doesnt seem to have a 120mm fans...only shows the 80mm enermax adjustable for like $4.99

either way, if the DFI can handle the 120, I prob just go for that since it's cheaper than I've found it anywhere else .... so can't go wrong

The XP-90 is great...and to all the people who talk about noise, I keep my computer on my desk, maybe a foot away from my ear, and I can't hear my 92mm panaflo. So noise will not be an issue with either Thermalright product. I would highly recommend either, but the XP-90 is cheaper...

well, considering that I will have 2 PSU fans, and 4 case fans, not sure how much noise it will actually make ... if anything, the other 6 fans will be louder ..

but even so, was at dfi-street forums, and they saying that the XP-90 is better in terms of cost, as the 120 only cools by a couple degrees C, and basically, it comes down to sound ....

so not sure. prob end up with 120 anyways....

The XP-90 is cheaper then the XP-120 and with the DFI it blocks a PCI-E slot I think. Just get the Xp-90.

went with the 120. considering I normally always buy retail, i looked at it as buying the upgraded HS/F for only $30 (since the retail was about $30 more than OEM, which I bought)

Congratulations! I think you made the right choice. Noise is very important; "silent PC" is currently one of the more prominent buzzwords in homebuilt PCs.
I didn't buy a fan from Paragon, either. Fans are readily available almost everywhere. I just ordered a 120mm Antec TriCool and a Thermaltake Thunderblade 120 along with the rest of my rig at Newegg. Whichever is quietest at full speed will go on the XP120. The other will become a case fan running at 5 or 7 volts.
