HPV vaccine has failed,

The mistake was the delivery method. The vaccine should be given to men, who can then use their own biologically-provided methods to inject the vaccine into women.

Yes, this was disappointing. We thought for certain that if they didn't have to worry about one STI that has almost no symptoms but has a small chance to lead to cervical cancer in 30 years would loosen the bonds on female sexuality and start a new era of sexual utopia.

It is a topic for discussion at the next meeting of Evil Genesis for a Better Tomorrow. Personally I'm voting that we try a cure for Herpes. Surely that will do it.

I am pretty sure the religious right is holding back vaccines for sexually transmitted diseases.

Besides hep B and HPV, there are almost no vaccines for STDs.

Just imagine how great sex would be if all STDs were eliminated.

A lot of people figure me a jerk for this view. I've felt that people positively diagnosed with STD's, especially more serious shit like AID's/HIV should be euthanized to prevent it spreading more. We already have enough shit out there tainting our genetics.
My uncle was diagnosed with aid's about 10 years ago. Despite him being an alright guy, this doesn't change my view.
He's always in/out the hospital. Nobody will be surprised when he finally kicks the bucket.

The fact that they even studied this is cringe-inducing. Shows just how neurotic and puritanical our society is.

If you actually believe this and aren't just a troll then you're far, far beyond a jerk. You're both an idiot and a truly horrible human being. Killing people because they have STDs? Yeah, that's a great Final Solution to that problem.

Why stop at STDs then?

The researchers didn't ask girls about having sex, but instead looked at "markers" of sexual activity after vaccination against the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus, or HPV. Specifically, they examined up to three years of records on whether girls had sought birth control advice; tests for sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy; or had become pregnant.

I don't really care but that seems flawed to me.

I'm not holding my breath waiting for a gonorrhea vaccine. That's a tricky little bug.

You know what is messsed up, nearly as many men die from cancer due to HPV as girls, but they refuse to require the vaccine for boys.

Why would it be flawed if they ask the same questions to unvaccinated girls? If anything, it's a more direct way to measure whether vaccinated girls end up with health problems.

I've formulated up quite a lengthy list over the years to weed out the weak so we can focus on strengthening our species & minimizing the severity of this overpopulation we are currently experiencing.
I have also included myself amongst list. Unfortunately there's no legal Kevorkian clinics nearby to partake in that cause.
