I am trying to setup my friends network this weekend for the second time. I have already installed the cards and the drivers and setup the shares. I can see each computer from the other. I just cannot get online with the secondary when the primary is online. I have already installed ICS, and used the client setup disk on the second machine. No change.
The primary is a new Gateway 1.3GHz P-4 and the secondary is a 750Mhz P-3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had bad luck with internet connection sharing. if the computers can see each other, there usually isn't a good reason it isn't working except that ics isn't working properly.

i had really good luck with sygate's program. very simple to install and works like a champ. of course, it isn't free....but it works well.
