HP ZE1210 Notebook $779.50

I have been lurking here for a long time, and have benefited quit a bit, so I thought I'd pass one along.

Tonight at Staples I purchased a HP ZE 1210 notebook from Staples for $779.00 and received a $150.00 MIR and a $100.00 MIR, making my total $529.00! This is a AMD XP 1400 processor, 256 MB SDRAM, 20 G HD, DVD/CDRW, ethernet and all the other goodies.

The stock # is 492780.

This is a clearance, and they will have to ship from another store, but there is no shipping charge. It is NIB

What do ya'll think?

This is an awesome deal for sure. A bunch of us got in on it over the weekend. There is another thread posted about it, but you may want to let people know what city you got it in because a lot of people are still looking for one.

Sorry about the repost, I looked and must have missed the original thread.

I am in the Dallas area. I went into the Plano store and the guy there pulled it up on his computer, called a store out of state and verified they had it NIB. He rang me up, took my shipping info and I should have it in a few days.

May I get your opinions on extended service plans. I am VERY mobile with my laptops, in fact, I use a Jottodesk and use it in the car all of the time.
