Any particilar reason they couldn't slip a 427 in the current Z06? I don't see why the damn thing has to be twice the price!

I know all about fast cars, as I used to have one. But I had to sell it, and I drive a Civic now... so I'm a bit bitter. Plus, I think I've grown out of the stage where my car has to be the fastest.
 
GM has to warranty theirs. How bulletproof is lingenfelter's setup?

IMO, throwing a bigger engine in there is the cheapest and sturdiest way to make power. I hate this fragile, high tech, high HP, low torque BS lately. Hell, we've been making big engines for decades, let's use 'em!

Heh then that is weak, I re-read that article 3 times to see if it was supercharged or turbo'ed oh, well, they are probably just being conservative since they have to warranty the car.
