Would this be an 'upgrade'? I'm kind of tempted at the idea of checking out a new form factor and JB...
Any thoughts regarding 7 in vs 10?
I like the Touchpad, but I don't use it that much. I think I would use a tablet more in a smaller form factor the Touchpad is just too heavy to hold comfortably with one hand.
And yet updates to CM9 has been coming out faster than ever even as things like the microphone, which was expected to never be made working, has been made functional.

Honestly, my largest problem is that it refuses to do what I want. For example, I put my TouchPad on the charging dock, and in both WebOS and CM9, it will display a clock. Well, in WebOS, if I hit the power button, it turns the screen off. In CM9, it turns the screen back on after a few minutes. That alone made me leave the TouchPad in WebOS...
Mine doesn't do that. It comes on when I put it on the dock, if I hit the power button it goes off if I leave it it goes to clock mode.
Install Dock Nothingness from Play. You can then set it to simply do nothing when you put it on the dock.Honestly, my largest problem is that it refuses to do what I want. I'm not sure if we're even running the same version of CM9. It's been awhile, but I think I'm on Alpha 2.5? Something like that....
You seriously need to upgrade. When I first installed CM9, I was frustrated at the battery life and other bugs. They have it really smooth now...good battery life, no more reboots, stable wifi. All that's missing is the camera.
Yea I've been flashing the nightly builds every few weeks and it seems to get better and better each time.

CM9 nightlies on TouchPad haven't really solved much battery issues. You still get like 1%/hr drain meaning in 4 days your TouchPad is dead. Usually less. 2-3 days about.

Wifi and mic have been resolved, but honestly, if you're using a full fledged tablet, this is not very good. A lot of things are "choppy" like scrolling in Twitter, etc.
Honestly a Nexus 7 is a HUGE upgrade in terms of usability. Unfortunately if the 7" factor is an issue, then maybe not. I for one think that 10" is the right size. Would like them to release a Nexus 10.
