HP system restore problem

I call up HP and tell them I need a system restore disc. They tell me since my computer is not under warranty anymore, they have to charge me 50 bucks to send me a new restore disc. The discs include everything that was originally on the computer when I bought it (office xp suite, xp home, and a bunch of other software). Okay fine so I give the person my CC#. I got the discs a week later, and everything installed correctly. One small problem though: All of the office xp suite programs ask for a cd-key, which I dont have. So I call up HP again, and ask them for the key. I told them nicely that I paid 50 bucks for these restore discs, I should be able to use everything that came on the discs, including the office xp suite programs. I tried to explain the situation to the woman, but I really dont think she understood. She then told me that she would have to charge me 49 dollars for support if she continuted to help me (not that she was helping any) so I hung up. I pay 50 bucks for these restore discs and cant use the friggen programs thats on them. When I go for support they want another 50 bucks just to give me a cd-key that SHOULD have came with the discs!

Tell them you are going to report them to the credit card company unless you get a full refund, and that you are less likely to buy from them again in the future if you don't get full recompense.

I've owned 2 HP systems in the past 3 years and while they did come with Office XP it was only a 13 day (or so) trial. HP restore discs really don't offer any decent software. They provide a very bloated WinXP install with lots of demos and spyware.

You should try and get your money back so you can buy a real WinXP disc.

Well, I paid 50 bucks for software I cant use...I'm also sure its not a 14-day trial.

No, I remember specifically asking them if this disc comes with all the software that originally came with the computer and they said yes. So what can I do now? Call back and ask to speak to someone who actually knows english?
