Hey.. i have a hp 2355 and am having problems printing.... When i try printing pictures, it says that "Tri-color print catridge inserted now is not intended for use in this printer" ... i havent changed my color catridge and the same color catridge used to work before... any idea whats wrong?

Yes, you have a problem with the connectors. Remove the cartridge, clean it up with a clean, dry cotton cloth, shake it a little bit, give it a kiss for goodluck and put it back in.

If that doesn't work, call HP and whine til they agree to send you a replacement. That's the american way 😀

tried cleaning it up,etc but it didnt work.... tech support said they'll send a replacement REFURBISHED printer of the same model which sucks coz im not sure how good the refurbished printer will be ...

normally i wouldn't mind a refurbished model, because not only do they say it works just like a new one, they tested it first to be sure it does

i just got mine for chirstmas as a gift. was working fine now i have the same problem... Makes me mad to see that hp wants to just refurbish... my bf just bought this one because the other hp printer v40..I loved it worked great.. didnt use it a whole lot..but i maybe had it for a little over a year.. never had to put new ink in it yet.. worked wonderful intil a gear broke.. due to the purge tank getting too goopy so it jammed up.. they just wanted me to upgrade to a newer one (at my cost) WHAT??? one cartridge? only a little over a year to me that still new..for as much as you spend...i think it should last longer than that...so i was going to fix it myself..hp sure cant produce parts for their known problems..thats for sure.. i looked everywhere.. so i gave up...and my bf felt sorry ofr insisting that i was going to fix that one before i by yet another printer... So know this one has problems too... no way..im scared to by anymore hp printers..they used to be good ones... not desposible ones...
