Nobody post this yet??? Just pick up one in my local CC and the CSR verify both rebates are valid.

CircuitCity has the HP Photosmart 7660 photo printer for just 9.99 - after $40 CC rebate and $50 HP rebate. Online shows in stock but it's not, you must get this from B&M. Call first to check availability.

Nice price. Next time an "AR" notation in your title would be appreciated though, especially when multiple rebates are involved... I had one foot out the door with a $10 bill in hand. :D

HP printers are basically disposal. The replacement cartridges cost more than a printer

The $50 rebate is valid "at participating retailers" and is from "New Age Electronics" and is hosted on buy.com. It does not appear to be an HP (manufacturer's) rebate. Does anybody have a confirmation on it's validity?

Someone will have to call HP to determine this.

I have called the 1-800 #, the CSR said the HP rebate is an independent rebate and will not conflict w/ the CC rebate, and CC is a valid reseller for HP product.

Great price for a photo printer w/card reader! Remember that this comes with the color and photo cartridges but not the black. I'd get it if I didn't have an HP 7260 still in the box as well as a Lexmark 45. Love those FAR (or, like this one, nearly FAR) printers!

Went to my local CC last night and the in store price was $125.00 so I bought it, then went to the customer service desk and PM'd it to $99 + 10% which brought it down even lower. So if both rebates work I will be getting this for $7 + tax.

Thanks to the OP for posting the deal!

@Cyberlark: Price matched to whom? That would make this a sweet deal again. Any info would be much appreciated.

Just curious what makes you say this? The rebate reads... "Save $50 at Participating retailers" yet nowhere on the form does it list what the participating retailer are?

It looks like the company managing the rebate is New Age electronics and by looking at thier Website they look to be a legit company that runs rebate programs for HP. I can't find any info about this particular rebate on thier site all they have is info on a different HP rebate for a printer exchange.

I have sent an email to thier contact us link to get clarification on the rebate. Will let you guys know thier reply when (and if) I recieve one.

Sorry about that noob poster mistake ;)

I PM'd it to thier own website! I had printed the page yesterday when it still said $99. Unfortunatly now it seems to be back up to $129.99 :(

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find a cached copy of the page somewhere otherwise if you have that printed page of the printer at $99 available for attaching to an email I would really appreciate a copy of it.
New Age looks to be processing Rebates for a select group of people only from thie looks of their web site. It's worth a try anyhow but I just wanted to let people know it's not a slam dunk for sure rebate.

HP printers are some of the best in the market. How is a $99 photo printer disposable?

This is a dead deal now. OD had it for $149 a few months ago and was able to double dip rebates down to $49.

I think the poster was referring to the fact that ink cartridges are not so cheap for HP printers. Whenever you come across an HP printer in a deal like this, it is often better/cheaper/makes more sense to get the printer with whatever cartridges it comes with than to spend money on a replacement cartridge for the old one.

I've gone through a couple of throw away printers lately. My last HP (3580 or something) conveniently died when the second black cartridge got exhausted. Luckily, I had a $35 refurbished 7150 waiting in the closet.

I picked up the last one my CC had last night. It was the "floor display" which, of course, had never been used. They sold that to me for 67.99 plus tax and the $40 rebate form printed out too. They brought out the "accessories box" from the back and in that was the UPC label from the original box and all the accessories including the ink carts. No carts had been installed on the floor model. Pretty good deal - with tax it ran me $72 and change minus the $40 rebate comes to $32 and if the $50 HP (hosted by New Age) comes through then they will have paid me $18 to take the printer off their hands. Chances are very good, though, that the $50 rebate is gonna get kicked out since it's "supposed" to be from Buy.com

YMMV

The CC website for this printer is down to $74.99, if you still have the $10 off $50 coupon from email then you can get this for $14.99 AR ($50). If you bought it earlier, consider pricematching the difference.

the HP rebate says participating retailers. how do we know if CC is a participating retailer?
