You will need video, wireless, touchpad drivers. Good luck finding them for Win XP.

It's usually pretty difficult getting that to work to be honest.. I tried installing XP on a Vista era laptop, and never managed to find all the drivers.. You might be able to do it or XP 32bit, but those 64bit XP drivers are almost impossible to find...

Btw, how do you like the keyboard on that model?

Here is the HP support website for your model. They only have Win 7 drivers but you can at least see what the drivers are for and go to the manufacturer's website.

Not a solution but a potential workaround.

Depending on your specific situation, you might consider if running an XP Virtual Machine on Windows 7 would work for you.

Best of luck.

Man, XP is so old. What's wrong with Windows 7?

I've pretty-much eliminated all of my XP machines in my household.

Windows 7 Family Pack can be your friend, if you have a lot of machines like me.

I bought the same laptop with an A4, it comes with Windows 7 in the USA. Only cost $300 btw, it's sweet for that price. Even came with a 750gb 7200rpm hard drive rather than the 640 gb that was spec'd.

It's pretty well built and plenty fast for what we use it for.

The keyboard is fine except if they didn't waste so much space it could have had a seperate number keypad like many 15 inch laptops do.
