I'm looking for a laptop with this kind of real estate, I can't find a better deal at the moment, and would love to get a better price for the specs, regardless of make.

(sorry about the non-hypertext, can't find the lever)
HP Pavilion dv8t Core i7 18.4HP has the HP Pavilion dv8t 18.4" Blu-ray Notebook for $1150 - $250 off with coupon code NBM7RTX = $900 with free shipping.
Start with the $1150 base configuration and then configure as below.

# Intel Core i7 720QM, 4GB DDR2, 320GB HDD, 18.4" 1920 x 1080 LCD
# Nvidia Geforce GT230M 1GB, Wireless-N, Windows 7 Home Premium x64
# Blu-ray ROM w/ SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW DL, Webcam, Fingerprint Reader

This thing is only 150 more than a low end laptop I was looking at for classes...I think I'll go with this one

rememeber Bing on top of that. I got on of these laptops on the 999 deal. Been playing games for me alright (l4d2, HON).

Hard to find a good laptop bag for something this big though 😀

They canceled my Bing on the first deal. Something about already using a code to get the original deal...

I pd 1065 delivered tax and all. Can't believe it went lower!

It IS an amazing laptop.....that I never carry.

I'm just going to order it with the bag. I'm not that worried about the weight.

If I could just get the site to load...It keeps lagging out on me halfway through the order.

would have seriously considered buying this when they starting offering coupon discounts, but the graphics chip needs to be a few models stronger to match the rest of the hardware.

That could help keep the price down. It isn't for the hardcore gamer, but is all anyone else would need. Did I mention I LOVE MINE!!

Damn all I do paste it. ANyway thanks for the non working link

ordered mine yesterday! Got that, and a targus carrying back for 1000 after taxes were figured into the equation. Plus I'm getting about 200 back from bing!

Sweet!

I'm fighting Bing for the 5% they canceled on my order from the last deal.....good luck to others on the current 20%.

Honestly, the $50 is small to how sweet this laptop is! I'm Happy at $1065 delivered. If you guys hit $8-900 that is awesome!

I'd still like to see that fifty tho'.

Good luck on the Bing guys. Mine was cancelled...which I fought them over. Here is Bing's response:

Hello Jim,

Thank you for contacting us at Bing Cashback Customer Support. My name is Jeff and I will be assisting you with Service Request No. 1118572252 regarding your cancelled Cashback reward for the purchase made with HP.com.

Sorry for the confusion about the name of the merchant, Jim. We have received the order confirmation that you send us. Thank you, Jim, for contacting Bing Cashback Customer Support.

Boooooo!

So is it Bing's fault or HP's? It sounds like HP's....I'll be pissed if I don't get my cash back. They advertised and lured me in via the 200 buck incentive. I would've gotten the next model down if I knew they were jagging people.

HP has always been pretty hardcore about ONE and only ONE incentive at anytime. I wouldn't put it past them to lock you out of BING for using a coupon.

Well, I pasted a direct email. Bing says it's HP's fault, but I never ask HP, lol.
I'd be happy to lose my $50 so you guys get your $180...but don't bank on that 🙂.

Keep all your emails and such just in case..
