I bought one of those Comp. Geeks Refurb HP Pavilion X (e-machine?) with the Built in video (Integrated into 810 chipset) deals in January. It's a Cel. 800 Socket 370 FPGA, 128 MB. This thing has been trouble! It won't display any gaming on the monitor. It never has. Games ask for at least 256 Color set on the monitor. When I go to display properties it only offers me "2 Colors" OR "16 Colors". What's up with that? I only spent $289 on this p.o.s. so I really don't want to buy a new video card. I know it's certainly not a gamer but it should at least play card games and simple stuff...should'nt it?! Please advise. Thanks :(

Sounds to me like you don't have the VGA drivers installed
or they are the incorrect ones. Go to intels website and
download the i810 display drivers, which I believe work on
all boards with that chipset.
