HP P1110 21" 0.24 Dot Pitch Flat Screen CRT any good?

Actually the P1110 is better than the 1100. I could have had the P1100 for like $150, but the P1110 is .24mm or .25mm dot pitch instead of .26mm, and it is flat!

There is a place in Troy, MI called Second Wind PCs that sells refurbished stuff at super cheap prices. Even though it is refurbished, and comes with a 30-day warranty, it is still really awesome stuff. The NEC P1150 that I bought from them 8 months ago still works perfectly, and has almost no cosmetic flaws. Normally I am not all for buying refurbished, but this place is on the up and up.

Cool I have no problem with refurbs cause mine is, and my freind here had one also. He just killed his running it out of spec the monitor itself didnt die he blew it up.

My favorite thing about them is that I don't have to pay the $60 shipping, I can go pick it up.

I use an HP P1110 21" Trinitron at work and a Compaq P900 19" Trinitron at home. The HP looks better than the Compaq, but it is not a fair comparison since my work computer has an ATI Fire GL 8800, and my home PC has a GF4. The HP doesn't support very high refresh rates though.

Those refresh rates look pretty good, but I'm suprised it can't go higher than 1800x1440 (not a 4:3 resolution). 1920x1440 at 80Hz would be pretty decent.

You sure about those? The vertical scanning frequency is supposed to go up to 180hz. I remember reading somewhere that 1024x768 was like 144hz. I will see if I can find it.

EDIT: Here on the third page lists all of the resolutions and refresh rates. It has some high refresh rates that are non-VESA. Can I still use those? Or can I only use VESA modes?
