Office Depot has the HP p1005 laser printer for $64.99. It is listed in the weekly ad as being 50% off, save $65 dollars. It was "hidden" in the clearance section in the printer area.

The reviews I have seen have been generally good. YMMV obviously, but it seems pretty solid for the price.

I paid $70.04 with tax.

This was in the Sunday ad in the newspaper. I am real happy because replacement ink for the Epson is ridiculous.

I believe it is same printer as P1006, just different color scheme.

Usually runs $100 at Newegg.

HPs have always been reliable laser printers for me.

That's pretty tempting. What's the page count for prints on one toner cartridge?

I've got a P1005, and has been a great printer. As far as the page yield goes, this page says 1500

I grabbed a HP toner cartridge off Newegg a year or so ago and haven't tried the monoprice ones yet. Still on the first toner other than the starter one they give you with the printer. I want to say I've had the printer going on 2 years now.

Not a duplex printer.(

This is true. But the manual mode worked well, although I would say that I had problems with double sided printing using the Vista driver but the XP one always worked flawlessly. Of course we know HP drivers aren't the greatest.

Sorry. Didn't realize this was an old thread.

I can't find it on-line or in the ad-flyers. Is this B&M and a YMMV only?
