HP...nice promotional video for the touchpad you have there...

I was actually really interested in their tablet. A coworker of mine was just about to buy one, now he isn't of course, now I'm kind of bummed. I liked what I had seen from WebOS3.0

I'm thinking that this was made by pissed off, soon to be unemployed employees of Palm.

My thoughts exactly. Someone was pushed hard to push this product out, I'm going to bet they weren't too happy when the HP CEO gave them the finger.

Did HP get hacked or something? I'm so confused by that video. It doesn't match up to the screenshots.

There have to be hundreds/thousands of REALLY pissed off employees at hpalm. A ton of them know that they will be laid off soon. I think some of these people made that video and put it up.

Seems a bit too well done though. Those soon to be ex HP employees have some serious talent.

Well done? This looks like the individual shot it quickly in their own home with a camcorder and a tripod and then changed all the videos or relinked them to this video. I'm guessing whoever managed the palm site was probably a slave driver. They were under the gun to deliver and deliver fast.

Oh, you think she was the actual employee? I figured she was just a the best actress the pissed off employee(s) had access to and used her for their video.

I doubt any of the real HP employees would be stupid enough to show their own face in the video. That would be a good way to get blacklisted by every other potential employer.

Whoever changed the video was stupid anyways. there are about 100 different ways this could be tracked back to them. This may not have been an employee but rather an employee's wife or whatever. Either way, someone on the inside did this. This isn't an advertisement.

Hell, just wait till Google lays of the IT dept at Motorola...

I hear the IT @ Google kicks ass, and they're already making fun of Moto's employees.

Meh, I don't think it will get to the point of a lawsuit, or anything. Selling their Palm and PC divisions is going to be chaotic as all hell, so I doubt uploading a weird video onto a promo site for a defunct product will warrant anything other than just a quick termination and bad recommendation.
