I ordered 3 on the 6th from Buy and they are "Processing." These are $300 monitors on "Clearance" at Best Buy, so I would say that since you still get the 1 year warranty on them, this is a good deal!

Computers4Sure has a very similar refurb on sale for $129. Use the current BFL rebate and free shipping for a final cost of $109! To find it, go to C4S website, clearance and find the IBM G70 Monitor. Lists $169 with $40 rebate. Includes 1 year warranty. I wouldn't be surprized to find out it IS the same monitor. I don't think HP or IBM make monitors, esp. the low-end ones.

I have found C4S to be very good, but I've never tried to return anything...

I never trusted anything refurbished but my friend bought a nice 21" refurbished monitor. It's great and he has a 3yr warrenty on it.

Just understand that a refurbished monitor is about as risky as you can get. Even if you get a quality warranty, monitors cost a ton to ship anywhere, and the problems they tend to have aren't likely to be something you'll be able to fix on your own.

Granted, you're generally screwed anytime your monitor goes out, whether it was refurbished or not. But with prices so low on monitors now anyway, I think it's worth it to pay some extra bucks for a monitor that hasn't already had problems.

Just my $.02.

.28 mm DPI, according to the page. Also only 15.7" viewable...

I think I'll pass on this one.
