Any idea where I can find the response time of this monitor?
From what I've seen, it doesn't seem too bad, and the clarity seems pretty good on it as well.
TIA for any help or comments :)

Try putting the serial number into google or something. Or have a look at the HP website for specs.

I've already tried the HP site and it didn't have the spec... I already tried searching for the OEM maker (Tatung L50) with no luck either.

I found the Tatung website but nothing even remotely similar to the F50... I'm guessing it's a strictly OEM monitor.

WHOA!

Does thisBenQ 15inch LCD really have a 16ms response time?
If so, I gotta take a look at it... I doubt the HP has that quick of a response time, I just don't know about the brand name is all.

TIA for any input on the Benq :)

The Benq 17" TFT version I have seen mostly very good comments about, not least because of its price.
I want one I want one I want one!
500USD is a tad much though...ooh.

Good comments are always good to hear :)
I'll definetely have to take a way closer look at the Benq.
It'd be especially nice if the model at the store had the built in speakers (though they're probably incredibly craptastic).

Just picked up the 15inch HP LCD screen: cost me $369, price in futureshop/worstbuy is $675-$750 so I figured it can't be a bad monitor, lo and behold, it's quite clean and clear, colours are nice, response time could be a bit better (it blurs noticeably, but not annoyingly in games), but overall I'm liking it a lot.
Best part of all is this one was more or less new: 0hours of backlight usage :D
