Looks like a good deal, but definitely a YMMV. You also should update your title to be more descriptive of what the hot deal and put the clever comment in the text of the message instead. Just my $.02.

Okay guys, help me out. I just called and got one put on hold to pick up. But is this a really great deal or what? I've been waiting on the whole DVD thing until the prices came down. Is this the time to move?

For me I'm gonna keep waiting. I'm waiting for those combo drives that do both standards of DVD blanks to come down in price.

The SIGN said "$209.50 CLEARANCE" , but when he pulled it out from the back room,
he said I was gonna be pleasantly surprised - it was only $105 !!

Got the last drive at Fredericksburg, VA store. As above, the shelf tag said $209.xx, but when he rang it up, it came up at the $105 price. I used the 30 off of 150 printable coupon (Found at your favorite overstuffed wallet website). Added 10 of the $10 AR DVD-R's, a 10 pack of the DVD+R's ( I already have a +R burner, some of the free after rebate CD-R's and a Sharpie pen to get me over $150. It ended up being $125.72 after the coupon and after 4.5% VA sales tax, and I have $24 of rebates to send in. Pretty sweet deal!

This is a good deal imho. It would be on fire with an instore coupon. I own a 200e (200i in an external box) and a 300i and I must say that I am pleased with these drives. They work great with Nero and Instant Copy. I am extremely pleased with mine. For those who have been waiting this would be a good time to act, and for those who have an instore coupon this is on fire!!!! So what if its only +, its a deal.......

Deal varies by store. I called three different Staples in Atlanta. One had the clearance price but none in stock. Another had them in stock, but no clearance price. And the third was juuust right.
