HP DV6Z:::16":::4GB:::250GB:::HD4530 = $579

I got it down to $521.59 with EPP, and with 25% bing cb, an extra $130.40 knocked off ($391.19 total) makes this (and basically every HP laptop) a very hot deal.

Link to sign up for a free EPP account

For bing, just go here and scroll down to the Featured cash back stores.

The trick to getting EPP and Bing working together is to sign out of EPP, clear cookies, navigate to HP's site through bing, log back in to EPP.

Nice addition to the OP :thumbsup:.

i didnt see the bing discount on the actual HP page, but following 2Xtreme21 instructions i got the bing to show up as pending shortly (~15 min) after processing my order, right around the same time i got my order being processed email from HP.

i can't seem to figure all this out. Do I need a Bing cashback account to see the 25% off?

You won't see it. Your total will come to $521.59, assuming EPP and plus tax, and you will get $130.40 deposited into your cashback account within 60 days.

With this extra info about the EPP, this is a superb deal.

Was the Bing CB credited to PayPal instantly, or do you have to wait 60 days? Do you have any advice for getting the CB instantly if I don't want to wait 60 days for it to show up?

No, that's just how Bing works. It's like a mail in rebate minus the "mail in" part. It's still free cash any way you look at it.

Bing terms of use say that you will not receive cash back if you use discounts, does the EPP count as a discount?

BTW how is the HD4530 at gaming?

If you search bing for laptops, the HP store will come up with the 25%

I'm not seeing it. Can you link it?

No. Type in "dv6z" and it's the 2nd sponsored link on the right side.

And as far as getting CB with the EPP discount, yes it's possible. Many others have reported being able to do so, and my girlfriend just bought a laptop from HP.com using EPP and CB and was credited the money. Just need to make sure you log out before you go through bing, then log in and purchase.

dude this is a good deal right? wonder much extra the high capacity 6 cell does. man if only the better video card doesnt cost 300 bucks more. i need a desktop replacement but i dont really need that high end of graphics.

Real close to pulling the trigger on this one. Wife has EPP account, and I found the 25% bing CB link...options are the killer as usual. The LED display adds $75, and the higher capacity 6 cell adds $29. Stick with the HD3200 graphics for battery life and because game playing is not what I buy a laptop for (and they are good enough for whatever gaming I might do). Wireless-G/Bluetooth, modem option add a few more bucks. Maybe I'll see if I can sweet talk her into this after work today.
