HP Deskjet 3650 opinions

The ink may be cheap but look at how much ink they give you per cartridge. It's good for someone who doesn't print alot...

They give you 10mL...

How many pages do you think that'd last at FastDraft or FastNormal mode?

With my BJC-4000 I think I can go about 2000-3000 pages before I need to refill a 22mL BC-20 cartridge at DRAFT/NORMAL settings.

I never print at BEST because it wastes ink and NORMAL does the job.

BTW

The 3650 at FastNormal looks almost like a laser printout and it spits out a fully printed sheet in less than 5 seconds.

I just wanted to know if these are reliable and relatively problem free.

I can get refills for the cartridges (about $2.50 a refill vs. $20 for a new cartridge).

the hp psc1210 is lousy , its only a 36-bit scanner, doesnt print very fast and it make lousy copies, if you must get a all-in-one, hp's 2110/2175 series look a lot more promising.

if you dont need to scan and copy, then the new hp 5100 printer is for you, it $100 @ staples with $20 instore coupon right now, i'm hoping it will be a little less next week when i buy it, and oh yea, it pretty amazing, did a print test with it, full 8 1/2 x11 photo with no borders. this replaces the spaceship looking 5550 model.

if ya need a scanner, - amazon has the canon lide20 for $43 shipped.
