resonable price for this model. This a competitive price against the Minolta 2300W Series. Glad to see it so cheap. BTW its gonna be an ok printer, its an older model (replaced by the 2550L) Thats why its this price.

Host based connection would be a problem if you wanted to run it off a JetDirect or another type of "hardware print server"

For the most part I think. There is the HP USB Jetdirect j175x that was advertised on the same page at staples (for me at least) which may work with it. For $160 tho.

Oooh. Bump for a color laser! :)

I wonder how these things compare with inkjets, on a long-term cost basis? I know that at least for B&W work, lasers are far more economical than inkjets - does this also hold true for the color variety?

Man I really wish I had gotten in on those 2300w deals where the printer was less than free. *sigh*
