I?ve had a HP CD-Writer Plus for about 6 months with no problems until I tried a second Disaster Recovery on Memorex CD-RW Platinum 4X?s. After a standard erase, the media could not be read. Am I doing something wrong in the erase procedure or what? I?ve done the firmware update 2.2. Thanks for any help.
 
I'm not sure, and I've not had any problems, but I believe it has been mentioned that you might try erasing it with another program, or if you are using quick, try full.

I'm assuming you mean that it is not seeing the blank?
