I'd reccomend either the DV6T or DV7T as they have the 4650 cards...much faster than the 9600 series in the HDX laptops (as far as I can tell). I think the lower resolution on the DV6T would be a little better for the card, but its up to you. The DV series come with free 3GB DDR 320GB HDD (5400RPM) but a lowly CPU, I'd suggest at least the 7 series CPU with 3MB cache.

From the benchmarks I see it looks like the mobile ATI 4650 performs on par with Nvidias mobile 8800GTX/9800GT (just under M GTX 260) with lower power consumption. A decent setup looks to run about 900-1000$ with the coupon code.
Oh and if you browse the site youll find the ultra-portables, 12-14" customizable models...configure em to 1000$ and use the code to drop the price to ~700$.
Not good on the special editions or Compaq models.
