Sears in Lansing, Michigan has 50pk spindles of HP 24X CDR @ $9.88
these are made in Japan and although not as cheap as the Fuji's at Best Buy these don't require waiting for a rebate either. I think these might be chainwide as the shelf tag had an ending date of 3/30.

The Staples store across the street had loads of stuff on clearance. Mainly small office/school supplies. I found 8 packs of GE 60watt light bulbs on clearance for $1.50 and on the front of the package it had a $1.50 rebate with a limit of 3 per address.
Three packs of Scotties tissues (kleenex) with a bag of Ricola Cough Drops for $2.00

Haven't tried this yet but if Kmart is still price matching, Meijer has 8 packs of Ray-O-Vac Batteries on sale for $2.96 each. Most Kmarts have loads of battery coupons wherever they have them displayed. Look for the ones that are buy3 get a $10 gift card or a $10 gas card.

Good Luck,

Keith

hey, mine say 16x (doesn't matter to me--burner is 4x)
my partner that works there say that price is gonna go back up--i doubt it, but thought i would post it in case it mattered to anyone

Just got the last one Friday in glendale, ca. Someone had taken the labels off and place them behind the glass display. A nice csr found it for me, he knew some csr must be saving it for themself. But he was able to ring it up with the price sticker.

This deal is still good! I just scored a couple armfulls today at my local Sears (in IL). All made in Japan TYs. They were on a clearance shelf and were still marked at the regular price $29, but they rang up at $9.88. I bought all they had left because I'm sick of rebates on CD-Rs (and there's no limit at Sears!). I should be set for the rest of the year (or a few months at least).
