its a really old model and it doesnt include an ssd or an os, but you could always run something like puppylinux or android (later this summer) or chrome os from a flashdrive if youre a cheapskate.

A used netbook with no SSD (which is probably the most expensive part) or OS for $140 is not a hot deal. You can come across full working refurbs with everything for $200. Woot had one just yesterday IIRC

Check Mwave.com for Asus eeeeeeee refurbs, I picked up the original 7" with 512 MB / 4 GB SSD / Windows XP for that price and it was in mint condition.

Hey, 800 x 480 is fine for old DOS and Win95 games

... but mwave has also had a lot of other Asus eee models with 9-10" displays for a bit more.

Granted I don't have this exact model laptop, but I do have a 1035nr, and if this model is anything like the one I do have it needs a 1.8in lif hard drive. Those are really strange to come by, and I haven't found them to be reasonably near the price of normal 2.5in drives.
Warning for those thinking to get a normal 2.5in lappy drive and plopping it in there.
