I am about to format and install XP on my Gf's computer, but I can't figure out how to save email's and then once I get Xp set up, import or move them over. How do I do this, thanks!

They are usually found in the c:\windows\application data\identities\{some big number}.

You can do a search for inbox.* or *.dbx and it will take you to the right directory. Just save the whole directory. After you install then you can restore all the files once your in the Outlook Express program by going to File>Import>Messages>Appropriate type> and then pick the location (I think).

Don't forget to go into your Address book and export the address book and then save it. (If you burn this stuff on CD, most likely you will have to copy it to the hard drive and then change the attribute flag to NOT read only.)

If you have Outlook installed you can export to Outlook and then export to a .pst file. Easiest way I can think of (if you have outlook installed).
