I'm curious how one would install a thermistor on a s939 CPU. The best idea to come to mind is to put it on the outside (or underside) of the heatsink but I'd like to be a little more accurate than that if possible. What's the normal way for doing this with these CPUs? I know I don't want to put it between the CPU's heatspreader and the heatsink but am at a loss to figure out where to actually put it.
Some links to guides on this would be appreciated as Google has failed me on this one.
Edit: I know that this isn't a 100% accurate reading but am building a box for my brother with the Aspire X-Qpack case and want it as accurate as I can get it but it's mostly for the coolness factor. He won't be OC'ing or anything (so underside of heatsink is an acceptable worst-case scenario at this point but I'm looking for better).
Thanks!
