After the baby went to sleep I played some BF1 beta and bought Return to castle Wolfenstein. The Ohio State Buckeyes won, that was expected but the Wisconsin Lsu game was my highlight of the day. Followed by Houston v Oklahoma game.

Pretty good. Grilled a nice steak dinner for the family, my son has a buddy spending the night so we all hung out on the deck just having conversation after dinner, just got out of the hot tub about 20 minutes ago, and we are going to Watkins Glen tomorrow to watch the Indy series.


OTOH.... The Pirates are losing

Watkins Glen is an awesome track and Indy, unlike NASCAR, runs the boot and the bus stop and the entire circuit. I haven't been there in about ten years. My brother is going to drive with a Porsche club drivers Ed there (he drives a Subaru though). My Saturday is cool, watched Gleaming The Cube starting Christian Slater. I went to the Glen to see Cart the last time I was there, Paul Tracey was still racing, and I camped out there. You can hear coyotes at night but there is a fence but still I heard them. You have a lucky family. Hope you and I get to drive the Glen some day. I have driven Virginia international raceway many times but not Watkins Glen. There's lots of elevation change and it's a long high horse power track.

Funny thing - despite growing up and still living a mere 50 minute drive from the Glen, being involved in racing (driving karts, working on pit crews and in scoring towers) for several years, and attending dozens of tracks in the northeast ( dirt and asphalt modifieds)...

I have never been to Watkins Glen to see a race. That ends tomorrow.

Bad day in the SEC with the exception of Alabama. Southern Miss won, which is awesome. I woke up really late though and am cranky. 3/10.
