Last week i bought a Sharp LCD panel for my projection system that i am putting together... I found the one i wanted and bought it from ebay, from a company called Unclaimed Baggage. I got the panel here two days ago and it packed insanely well. Everything looks in excellent shape until i try to plug the panel in.

Pluged it in. Got NOTHING. At this point I was pretty POed, and sent the company a polite email asking if they would take the panel backI figued out it was a bad AC adapter, turns out it was. So i went over to radioshack yesterday and had to buy a regulated power supply for 40 bucks (ouch) and adapter needed. Hooked up the new supply and everything worked perfect.

So this morning i check my email and they apologize for the whole mess. I emailed them back and told them about the cost of the new supply. I mentioned if they could refund the amount i paid for the supply and accesiroies and they sent me an email back in minutes saying no problem and that if i would fax over the reciept they would put the money back ($56) on my CC. Now thats customer service!

POINT of story : Good customer service still exists today.

yeah i got a wicked deal on it... they normally sell for 150 and up.. i ended up paying 70 bucks plus 56 for the power supply. After the company refunds me for the supply they will only end up making about 15 bucks on the sale :( ... oh well.. i really think they just didnt want to lose there high ebay ranking..what matters is that they took care of the customer.. in a very fast and helpful maner :)
