Seems pretty sick. Way bigger than my T-9, but crazy optical zoom.

Can be had for 280 shipped w/2gb SD card from Costco

I presume it will suffice for

- Macro
- Concerts
- Football games

short of getting a full on DSLR

I've been very happy with my SX100. I haven't tried any concerts or Sporting events, but I've been pleased with my macro shots.

Is there anything other than more megapixels and the larger screen that the sx110 has over the older one? I was hoping they'd add a viewfinder.
 
it's pretty gay that Canon isnt releasing the better camera in NA.
And it looks like they finally put a real on/off button in this camera. Cant tell you how much I hate my S3's on/off switch
