Hows the weather in New York?

I'm leaving for NY tonite (for 5 days). Just wondering how the weather is. I'm trying to pack as light as possible. I wouldn't need a jacket would I?

It's supposed to hit about 50 tonight. Low humidity right now. Wind is about 7mph.

From what I saw last night it's going to be fantastic all week, though supposedly a little more humid this weekend. Right now it's absolutely perfect. There's not a cloud in the sky, it's just about 80 degrees and dry not humid. The rest of the weeks is forecasted to be the same, if you believe meteorologists, which I don't. This is Lower Manhattan by the way.

gotcha. well. it would be wise to bring a skinny light little shell. you never know when it can rain, or something like that..

 

Just buy a jacket or something if you really need it.
