setup looks good. if you could though, id would try to find a 9800 pro 256mb or 9800xt 256mb or a lowend model of the xt800 models

For the love of God! ( or allah, buddha, vishnu, or whomever happens to be incharge today) Do not skimp on your psu! If you have to go cheap on the video or ram to start with, so be it. You can always save up and upgrade those later. I know it sucks, but you'll be better off. IMHO

here a ati 9800 pro 128meg for about $136 yeah i know it only 128meg of ram compare to the 256 on the 9600, but the 256mbit memory bus and the 8 pipe lines will give you alot better perfomance than the 9600 will have.

Performance is comparable. Go with whichever you can find cheaper. IMO
