Check your AA / AF settings? Make sure they arn't being forced via the drivers? Make sure vsync is off?

Sheesh, just over a year ago the 9800 PRO was the shiznet. Now its a POS bottleneck. The price on these new cards is pretty obscene.
While old, I wouldn't consider the 9800P to be a POS. Maybe a bottleneck, but definately not a POS.

Maybe I should´nt have said "pretty laggy", but its a bit laggy when your outside and fighting. I dont have any performance issues in other games, maybe people are exaggerating how smooth it runs?

You can pay more for a similar performing x700/GT6600.
i a waiting awhile for HL/2 (finishing a current game and waiting for the 'bugs' to work out and a "sale").
the 9800p ran DOOM III pretty well (for a crap game except for gft) . . . . HL2 will run a LOT better on ATI cards.![]()
