Wife submitted an entry into a competition and as I expected its turning out to be a popularity contest. I figure what the hell and lets see how effective the ATOT effect still is.

I had a very brief flashback to being a young kid, and getting nicely decorated cupcakes for my birthday. Thanks for the memory, and voted :^)

Wow those butterflies look tough to make, did she use a mold at all, or 100% hand formed? What kind of chocolate are they made of?

They're hand done on wax paper. They are made up of your everyday melting chocolates you can get at most hobby/craft stores...form the border, fill in, add some design elements and let cool.

She has more patience than I.

Me too. I get grumpy if I am working on something with lots of intricate parts, or have to solder tiny parts. At least with my frustration, I can fix the problem and have satisfaction in fixing it. Can't imagine going through that and then watching my hard work being stuffed into someones mouth.
