How's T-mobile service in Bay Area?

I want to switch to a family plan with blackberry service from T-mobile. Verizon doesn't carry the latest Curve 8900, and I don't care for Storm. Plus, T-mobile's prices seem much more reasonable, and you get GSM technology, so when I travel, I can actually use the same phone, rather than carry a special GSM phone with me.

So, the only question is - how's coverage? I've heard many complaints about AT&T coverage (because everyone and their mama has an iPhone), but pretty much nothing about T-mobile.

Tell me, ATOT!

Just get a iphone.

See, I actually need to reply to e-mails a lot, rather than read them on the go. iPhone can't compare with a full qwerty keyboard.

i switched from t-mobile to AT&T. I think AT&T is much better. I get reception in a lot more places. But I do seem to get more dropped calls though.
