This is the second time I build a PC. I am on a small budget. The main purpose is for moderate gaming. I'll play Crysis, Crysis 2, Black Ops, MW2, Wings of Prey, Mass Effect 3 when it comes out. I'll also use it to play HD movies and internet browsing. What kind of performance can I expect to from this setup for the games I listed? Thanks in advance.

-AMD Athlon x3 435 Rana 2.9ghz (I'll unlock the 4th core and OC to 3.4ghz) With a COOLER MASTER Hyper N 520
-G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 2x 2gb (4gb total) at 1333mhz
-ATI HD 5750 1gb DDR5 Graphics card
-Biostar A780L3G motherboard
-400 Watt PSU (Will later replace with a 600+ watt)
-Samsung SH-S223L DVD burner
-Western Digital Caviar Blue WD2500AAKS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64

Look at my budget build here and then add any GPU of your choice, the build i posted is good for most mid-range graphics (gtx 460, 5770, 5850, 6850, 6870)

The 5750 just isn't going to be that great for gaming. What resolution will you be gaming at anyways?

The WD Blue 250GB... just no, please.... Get something like a Samsung F3 500GB.

The WD 250gb is enough for now. I'll add a second one later on.
I'll probably have a 1080p 22-24" LCD monitor. Maybe 1680 or 1920.

What if I OC the 5750 to 825MHz and the memory at 1335MHz? I've read that it would still have safe temps and have a performance increase of 25%.

Even with an OC, 5750 isn't going to get you anything close to what I would call "good" performance in those games. Also, I wouldn't bet on a 25% OC.

You probably should have posted your thread before you ordered. We would have advised you to save up a bit more.

Maybe, Medium settings on 1680x1080?

I'd like to wait until the game comes out first. Then decide if it's definitely time to upgrade. If not, I'll stick to it and save up for a GTX 460 or 6850.
