I respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree. :)

i wish they still werent so expensive on steam. 20 for cod and 30 for cod2

Wow, that's surprising! I thought COD2 would be $20 by now. Actually I was hoping it was around $20 now because I was thinking of picking it up again.

Guess I'll wait a little longer.

I hated Call of duty 1 , Call of duty 2 and Call of duty 3 but i did like Call of duty united offensive.

I did also like Medal of honor Pacific assualt because of its better cinematic experience. I am more a epic cinematic guy. Love the bit in the MOH:AA where you land on omah beach or in MMOH:AA SH where you jump out the plane.

Why'd you play it twice.

What was about UO that you liked? Don't give spoilers.

My question as well:confused:

One of my professors talked about how badly Ultima (the original one) sucked, then later he talked about how he used to play it for 10+ hours straight and replayed it all the way through several times.

Oh well, cant say he did not give it a chance:p

I loved CoD2. It was a great play all the way though, and every notch in difficulty demands a new style of gameplay to survive. It was like 3 damn good games in one!

I hated CoD2. I don't think they ever released any official map or modding tools for it at all.

CoD1 + UO expansion + all the map/game mode mods and vehicles were tons of fun. Next to Tribes 1-2 it seems to me that CoD1+UO was one of the best multilayer games I ever played.

Hell I just replayed COD1+UO about 2 months ago. I love it. The sequences are so damn intense and the multiplay is fun too. If you haven't play COD1+UO then you are missing out on a lot.

I should have been more specific. I played it a total of two times, and I'm talking multiplayer only. I didn't bother much with single at all cause I'm more into Multiplayer since that is end game.

Completely different from what I thought it was going to be. Coming from COD:UO multi, this thing blows.

Sucks. I can't even play at my res with my rig.

1680 x 1050 and everthing turned down and I get 20-30 fps. Strangely, indoor scenes put the most stress on my system and outdoors give me the smoothest fps.

I just put in an order for a 1950XT and we'll just have to see how good this is.

The game is an absolute pig on the DX9 path. Try running it under DX7.

at first, i really disliked the game. once i "got into it" (learned how to adjust to the gameplay. ut2004 vs counter-strike) it became lots of fun. one of my favorite shooters, but it simply isn't one of the best games out there. definitely worth the 20 bucks, though. singleplayer AND multiplayer...it's tough to find a multiplayer server that i really enjoy. it's one of those games where i don't realize i'm having fun until i'm done playing.

It runs better on DX7, but its unaccetable to not be able to run in DX9.

In terms of gameplay, I like what I've seen so far. The woman russian soldiers are nice.:)

At first, I thought it was just some 12 year old boy. lol

I also like how the germans will fire their pistols after being wounded. Nice subtle addition.

Heh, I decided to take a break from bf2142 and put the cod2 disc in. Hadn't played since around last christmas; hit resume game and found myself getting my ass shot off on the pointe at omaha.

I do remember that the final portion of the african campaign was something I hated; damn sequence where you drive around as a jeep gunner and one of the last turns you've got to nail two seperate rooftop positions after making a turn in about a second.

End Game? I wasn't aware that FPS's were becoming mmorpg's now...plus I'm pretty sure one of the main selling points of the COD series was an immersive single player experience. I was the opposite, never cared for COD multiplayer but I enjoyed the campaign for COD1 and COD2.
