How's ATi's RMA Service???

Gr... Recently my ATi 9800 PRO died on me for no reason. At the moment I am on my ... guess what? Asus nVidia TNT (16mb)!!! Has any one had experience with ATi's RMA service? What do ya think i'll get in return? A 9800 or better?

I was happy with it.... my 9800AIW died (permanently artifacted) and the one they sent me back was R360 instead of R350 cored, but it was more prone to overheating...

I think I had my replacement within 6 buisness days

I have RMAd my 9700Pro two times, and both times got one shipped UPS air pretty quickly.

How long is the warranty last? We have a X850XT-PE with a locked paddle that needs repair.

My Radeon 9800 Pro died when I bought it, ATi replaced it very quickly. I got a new one within the same week.

my 9800 pro just died too, I RMA'ed it last week. They received it a week ago from friday and I got an email this past thursday that it was sent back. I'd say thats pretty good since they estimate 7-10 business days.

ATI products purchased prior to February 15, 1992 were covered by a 2 year warranty, which has now expired.

That's amazing! Imagine posting this from an Ocean 486/33 with Tseng ET4000 graphics! Oh the horror. (being 1994 that is)

Im not sure what that is but mine was under a 3 year warranty and was just over a year old. So I filled out the RMA request form online at their website and they emailed me a RMA number and all the information to send it back.
