any pentium 100-133 go for about $320 bux with max 40 meg memory often with 16 or so and so for 180 more that is a fantastic deal go for it!!!

I usually check the for/sale forum first then hot deals. Today I checked them backwards so until about 5 minutes later I didn't even realize the mistake.

Plus I prefer not to be a llama like many of the members ripping on any new junior member that makes a mistake. I guess thats what it takes to get lots of posts fast.

the value of the laptop will depend on the condition. Something new with that kind of condition can be had for around $800, I think.

Bought it this afternoon and load 2k on it already(previouly 98). Sorry guys, I forgot about the sale/trade forum. Its in great shape, has cd-rom drive built in and USB which is good. Had no prob getting 2k up and running, did a complete format with four seperate partitions. I was also suprise he bothered to upgrade his ram that much on an average model, Compaq Presario.

Beware of buying used latops. Everyone I've gotten has sucked!
I only buy NEW now out of experience. Also, do a search on Walmart laptop and you'll find a SWEET deal!
