How'd you do on the Calculus AP test?

Since everyone is doing Ap threads... How'd you do on the Calculus AP test?

I took the BC test this morning. The multiple choice went well, but the free response was pretty tough, i had to leave a few parts of problems blank :( We have a block schedual at school so we finished learning all the bc stuff like a month ago, so for the last month weve been doing practice problems...i think our teacher prepaired us great, well him plus the ti-89 :) Hopefully i did as well as i think.

I took it 4 years ago and got a 1...now I'm graduating as a math major LoL gotta love the irony :D

My older brother got a 5 on it but I kinda doubt I'll do that well (not taking it till next year). Statistics was really easy .. of course, it's worth half as many credits.

didn't take it. i figured calculus is such an easy class i could use the easy A in college instead of taking a 3 hour test.

i took it back in 98 and got a 3/5. I guess that's average. It was definitely tough. Even the graphics calculator questions were hard.

I decided not to take the AP Calculus in high school, just took the reg Calculus high school course. Enrolled at a junior college for the summer. I already took my trig during my junior year at the j.c. so I knew the system. Got a B in Calculus and A in trig without even really studying. I had to miss high school graduation cause of the summer session of Calculus I. I wanted gurantee college credit. Not all universities accept AP classes

I decided not to take the AP Calculus in high school, just took the reg Calculus high school course. Enrolled at a junior college for the summer. I already took my trig during my junior year at the j.c. so I knew the system. Got a B in Calculus and A in trig without even really studying. I had to miss high school graduation cause of the summer session of Calculus I. I wanted gurantee college credit. Not all universities accept AP classes

5 years ago when I was in high school, I took the BC exam and got a 4. From what I recall, it wasn't too bad.

Don't ask me to integrate anything now, though. :p

I'll be honest, my family wasn't rich. AP tests weren't free and going to a junior college was more cheaper back then. I was on the swim/water polo team and I didn't have time for fun raisers. I wasn't to keen on selling candy bars either.

My dad's friend son did the same thing. So my dad suggested I did the same.


But I want to make comment, I'm really impress with today's students. A lot of you guys are lot more serious in high school and college than I ever was. I did those summer school classes out of economic reasons.

I got a 5 but then college math whooped me. I'm graduating in a few weeks from Johns Hopkins.

Took the AB exam this morning, I thought it was pretty easy. The MC no calculator part was a breeze, and I think I got like 3/4 of the free response questions right. The calculator MC part was a bit tough, but I still only skipped 2. I figure I almost surely did well enough for a 5, definitely a 4. Guess we'll see in July.

i got really wasted at a frat party the night before and slept through it. so 0 i guess. :eek:

Ohhhh, ok. Never mind then, down here in Florida, the schools pay for AP exams, seeing as they get money for anyone who passes.

I took it this morning...let me preface by saying our teacher this year was terrible, and didn't explain any of the concepts...just how to do problems. And I always have to understand what's behind it. That having been said, I did ok on the multiple choice but I'm almost positive I missed most of the free response. For those of who you took it today: on the plane/fuel one, I had no idea, so the only thing I wrote was part A: I'm leaving B: on C: A D: Jetplane. I did much better on the English, I think ;)
